I think I will gain valuable writing and reading skills from core 101.  I hope to learn in more detail how to interpret different types of writings.  I think I will gain the skills necessary to write well structured papers, essays, and letters.  In my previous English classes, I did not learn much about how to correctly structure certain kinds of papers.  I believe that this class will assist me with deciding my major, because it will help me decipher if this is something I am interested in.  This class could potentially help me in the future after I graduate by giving me skills to help write a resume, report, or other important documents for any line of work.  I feel that this core 101 class will give me valuable skills to peruse a major or job in the future.
